Furthermore, even though we do not here discuss the human cost, we realize that losing anyone in an air accident is insurmountable tragedy to individuals, families and communities. We do extend our heartfelt sympathy to those whose loss we record here. Mooney Crashes in Elbert Colorado


What: MOONEY M20C registered to ALPHA AVIATION INC
Where: ELBERT, CO in the 28000 block of Elbert Road, between Kiowa and Elbert.
When: 02/01/2009
Who: Pilot Gary Williams of Highlands Ranch, Colo.
Why: The plane nosedived into a creek late Sunday morning killing the pilot. The crash is under investigation by the NTSB
