At times, there may be error but we do try to use our best judgement at the time of posting, and will be glad to amend any details which are proved incorrect. Furthermore, even though we do not here discuss the human cost, we realize that losing anyone in an air accident is insurmountable tragedy to individuals, families and communities. We do extend our heartfelt sympathy to those whose loss we record here. Emergency Outback Landing

What: Cessna 182 on an inspection
Where: Northern Territory outback.
When: Wednesday night feb 25
Who: Pilot and passenger
Why: The Cessna's pilot made an emergency landing when the plane experienced emergency problems. Rescue crews found the stranded pilot and passenger and flew them by helicopter to Elliot; the passenger was taken to Elliot Health clinic with a facial cut. The pilot was uninjured.
