Helicopter Crash In Monroe NC



What: Hughes OH6A Helicopter owned by Charlotte Helicopters Flight Academy
Where: Monroe NC (Union County) at Stephen Street and Donham Street in a field behind Central Academy of Technology and Art
When: Thursday 10:30 a.m
Who: Justin Travis, survived. Pilot Mark Bartlett was killed in the crash * corrected as per comment below.
Why: helicopter hit power lines and crashed
