We make a special effort here to record the facts as we receive them. At times, there may be error but we do try to use our best judgement at the time of posting, and will be glad to amend any details which are proved incorrect. Furthermore, even though we do not here discuss the human cost, we realize that losing anyone in an air accident is insurmountable tragedy to individuals, families and communities. We do extend our heartfelt sympathy to those whose loss we record here. Experimental Plane Crash kills 3

What: EXP BEARHAWK Fixed Wing Single-Engine Regis#: 3WC owned by William Cox en route from a private airstrip in Beach City RWJ Airpark
Where: ANAHUAC TX in Chambers Count landing in an open pasture 30 miles east of Houston.
When: Thursday 01/29/2009 3 p.m.
Who: Pilot and two passengers were aboard
Why: Wtnesses reported hearing an engine sputter before seeing the plane nosedived into the ground. The plane was an experimental class plane
