At times, there may be error but we do try to use our best judgement at the time of posting, and will be glad to amend any details which are proved incorrect. Furthermore, even though we do not here discuss the human cost, we realize that losing anyone in an air accident is insurmountable tragedy to individuals, families and communities. Springfield-Branson National Airport Emergency Landing

Where: Springfield-Branson National Airport
When: 11 a.m. shortly after takeoff
Who: 13 people on board
Why: The on board computer indicated that the plane was not in the air, and that the landing gear would not go up. The plane landed after circling to burn off fuel

And (separate incident). The model and airline were not indicated in the original news transmission.

Where: Springfield-Branson National Airport
When: 3 p.m. on Saturday
Who: Thirty-two people were on board the jet, including crew and passengers.
Why: Fire in the cockpit
