Furthermore, even though we do not here discuss the human cost, we realize that losing anyone in an air accident is insurmountable tragedy to individuals, families and communities. Replica Crashes killing Pilot




What: Replica of a 1917 Nieuport 24 biplane
Where: Plane crashed during an air show at the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome
When: August 17, 2008 Sunday afternoon. The plane crashed during the final minutes of an air show.
Who: The pilot was a certified commercial flight instructor. Name withheld pending notification of relatives.
Why: Not posted.
