At times, there may be error but we do try to use our best judgement at the time of posting, and will be glad to amend any details which are proved incorrect. Furthermore, even though we do not here discuss the human cost, we realize that losing anyone in an air accident is insurmountable tragedy to individuals, families and communities. We do extend our heartfelt sympathy to those whose loss we record here. Palatka Florida Crash




What: Small plane on their way from Alabama to Miami--made a pit stop in Palatka Florida. The crash occurred after they took off.
Where: Palatka Florida, south of Jacksonville in a neighborhood
When: Sunday
Who: Eddie King, 64, and his wife Patricia, 57,
Why: The plane lost power, hit two trees, spun and then crashed in a wooden, vacant lot in between two homes. The pilot, his wife, their computer and their cat were all unharmed.
