Furthermore, even though we do not here discuss the human cost, we realize that losing anyone in an air accident is insurmountable tragedy to individuals, families and communities. Mid Air Collision (Update)

Update
Dr. Ralph Otto, 67, who worked locally as a cardiothoraic surgeon, was identified Monday as one of three killed in the collision. His passenger was C. Michael Downey, 67. Both were members of the Flying Physicians Association. The third victim was student pilot Dave Knezovich, 54, of Wyoming, who was flying a Cessna 172






What: Collision between two single-engine planes : Cessna from the Rock Springs-Sweetwater County Airport and an incoming Cirrus SR22, originated from Polson, Mont
Where: Rock Springs area.
When: Sunday after 12:00 pm.
Who: Student pilot (Cessna) and a pilot and passenger in the incoming Cirrus. All involved were killed.
Why: student pilot was taking off with a plane coming in for a landing.
