A Note to Our Readers

We make a special effort here to record the facts as we receive them. At times, there may be error but we do try to use our best judgement at the time of posting, and will be glad to amend any details which are proved incorrect. Furthermore, even though we do not here discuss the human cost, we realize that losing anyone in an air accident is insurmountable tragedy to individuals, families and communities. We do extend our heartfelt sympathy to those whose loss we record here. Cessna flips over in Auburn, Washington




What: single-engine Cessna 210.
Where: in a field east of Auburn, Washington near Black Diamond about a mile north of the Auburn Adventist Academy, lat 5000 Auburn Way S.
When: 6 p.m. Monday.
Who: Pilot and all three passengers were OK after the crash
Why: The plane lost oil pressure, and may have lost an engine, forcing an emergency landing. It flipped over and came to rest on its top as it made an emergency landing in the field. Details are not available. The crash is still under investigation.
