Australian Plane Collision, One Fatality






What: Light aircraft collision between a Piper Warrior and a Cessna 150
Where: Moorabbin Airport in Melbourne
When: Aug 27, 2008
Who: Twenty-four-year-old trainee pilot Akash Ananth, an Indian national colliding with another light plane over Cheltenham. The other pilot and trainee made it back to the airport to land safely.
Why: Under investigation
