We make a special effort here to record the facts as we receive them. Furthermore, even though we do not here discuss the human cost, we realize that losing anyone in an air accident is insurmountable tragedy to individuals, families and communities. Helicopter Crash: Lake of the Ozarks



What: Ozark Mountain Helicopter
Where: 15-mile marker of the main channel of the Lake of the Ozarks
When: Sunday
Who: 4 survivors, 1 fatality (9 year old boy)
Why: While flying in for a landing, began spinning uncontrollably; cause under investigation
