Furthermore, even though we do not here discuss the human cost, we realize that losing anyone in an air accident is insurmountable tragedy to individuals, families and communities. Emergency landing: Ok




What: Fixed wing single-engine sport plane returning to California from Tennessee where he had taken the aircraft for an annual inspection. Plane is registered to Gary Anderson of Carnelian Bay, California.
Where: southern Logan County north of Oklahoma City's Wiley Post Airport
When: Fri May 30
Who: pilot (70-year-old Richard Rohlf of Truckee, California)
Why: Engine trouble FAA is investigating
