At times, there may be error but we do try to use our best judgement at the time of posting, and will be glad to amend any details which are proved incorrect. Furthermore, even though we do not here discuss the human cost, we realize that losing anyone in an air accident is insurmountable tragedy to individuals, families and communities. We do extend our heartfelt sympathy to those whose loss we record here. What: Cessna 210 Centurion
Where: East Louisville neighborhood
When: May 4
Why: Under Investigation

* Note regarding details:
We have been notified that these are two different crashes. (See comment below.) In the crash in the video there was no fire and the plane took off from a nearby airstrip. The Courier journal article about Shenk states his flight originated in Colorado and he was severely burned. We thank our readers for keeping us on target.
