Furthermore, even though we do not here discuss the human cost, we realize that losing anyone in an air accident is insurmountable tragedy to individuals, families and communities. Tennessee Ultralight Fatality

What: ultralight taking off from Cooper Field, a grass airstrip in far western Greene County
Where: cornfield in Greene County Tennessee
When: Sunday right after taking off
Who: 46-year-old Edward Molden
Why: The plane went up about 150 feet, then took a sharp left turn and did a nosedive into the ground, possibly due to wind.
