Where: 300 yards from the Grand Strand Airport in North Myrtle Beach near the Palmetto Harbor sub-division in North Myrtle Beach
When: Wednesday July 23
Who: Pilot Larry Warren of Efland, N.C.,
Why: the aircraft's engine died on approach to runway 23 at the airport.
