Furthermore, even though we do not here discuss the human cost, we realize that losing anyone in an air accident is insurmountable tragedy to individuals, families and communities. We do extend our heartfelt sympathy to those whose loss we record here. Not a crash but a tragedy and a gruesome one...

A mechanic was killed in Tenerife Sur airport at around 9.40 last evening after being sucked into the engine of the plane he was repairing. If you read Spanish, the original article is here:
