Emergency Landing Commendation in Brisbane

What: single-engine Cessna 172
Where: Archerfield Airport, Brisbane

Why: landed on one wheel and skidded along the runway. The landing is being described as "near-perfect emergency landing " and "best possible outcome" in spite of the fact that the Cessna's undercarriage would not lower. Royal Queensland Aero Club (RQAC) plans to investigate.
